Halo & clusters as testing grounds for fusion theories

• Consider halo nuclei, and others e.g. 6,7Li with strong clusters,

• Good test-benches for

  • theories of breakup,
  • theories of incomplete & complete fusion

• because the breakup and partial-fusion modes are clearly defined,

  • (assuming experimentalists will fix neutrons soon!)
